To Mrs Lumsden's Family-
I went to Memorial High School with Cinda and I remember Mrs. Lumsden as a kind, caring, and erudite person. She was the kind of person who could soften even a hardened heart. I am sorry for your loss. Best regards.

To Barbara's Family: My name is Joyce Pusok Hutcherson. I attended elementary & junior high school in Spring Branch and lived on Piney Point Rd. Barbara was in my class. When I saw her name & photo in the newspaper, it brought back fond memories. I looked her up in my old Year Book "The Bruin" from 1949 & 1950. I will always remember her as being very pretty & outgoing, and she was the smartest student in our class. My family moved to Tomball in 1955 so I lost track of all my schoolmates, but I will always remember Barbara Ann Bergstrom from my early childhood school days.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dickie, our family, the Comptons, lived down the street from you on Southmore. Barbara and I had a great time.....so simple and happy. I last saw her at the Lamar reunion a year ago and we had a wonderful visit. She had received the letter I had sent her. Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and will miss my dear childhood friend...........Tishie

The children and staff of The Settlement Home are deeply grateful for all Barbara's years of care and support for our children. Barbara was a Board member and a long-time active member of The Settlement Club from 1987 until her illness. Barbara has made a difference in the lives of so many children. We will miss her sweet smile.

Jerry - Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. I know that your family's tremendous faith will also help you. Barbara was always so kind to allow you to share your time and faith with us during our high school days in Young Life. We will always be indebted to both of you.

Jerry & family, I am so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. Although it has been several years since I have seen her, I will always remember her sweet smile and laugh! She truly was one of the most giving persons I have ever met! The world was a much better place having her in it. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear Jerry, Cinda and Stacy, My prayers are with you. I know she is in a better place with our Lord but those left behind suffer the grief of missing her. We had many good times together and I will always remember her beautiful smile and the fact that she was just as beautiful inside as outside. We will see you tomorow, Patsy

Dear Stacey and Cinda,
I am so sorry to hear of your dear mother's passing. Although it has been years since I have spent time with your family, I will always remember her radiant smile and kind heart. I know her loving spirit will be a part of you forever. We rejoice that she is now resting in peace, in the arms of her Lord & Savior.

Barbara was all the things that were said in the memorial PLUS she was a lot of fun. There is a need for joy in this life and Barbara brought that. It is sad to know that she is no longer on this earth.

What a loss to all who were touched by Barbara! My deepest sympathy to her family. Barbara was such a kind, loving, and engaging person and was inspirational in so many ways. It was a true privilege to have known here. I am a better grandmother and a better person for it.

Lumpy,
Just couldn't believe it when I saw today's paper. My prayers are with all of you. It was certainly you and Bee that lead me to the Lord so many years ago at SWMetho.MYF...now I'm a grandmother! Blessings and praise to our Lord for our precious Barbara is now dancing and singing with the Son! I think about both of you often and the profound effect you have had on my life.

Jerry, Stacey and Cinda,
What a beautiful person Barbara was, inside and out, and her witness was the one of the Angel, she is now. I know she will be greatly missed. I know there is some comfort knowing the suffering is over and she is truly whole again. Praise the Lord for the time you had this wonderful lady . Our prayers will continue to be with you and your families.
