As one of Alan's Irish Friends, my thoughts and prayers are with his family. I enjoyed meeting Alan at the Irish Festival in Milwaukee two different years. All the IF enjoyed the Festival together.

My prayers and condolences go out to Mr. Caldwell and his family. I met him once when I stopped by his house to hang a box back on his house. We had a brief conversation, but truly a spectacular person.

I played Tennis both with and against Al for several years as part of a "Lawyers Tennis Group". He was very personable, a good sport and tennis player. He will be missed. I have lost a good friend.

The obituary did not include the fact that Al was an excellent tennis player. I recall many spirited and competitive doubles matches, as both his partner and opponent, through our Singles' Club tennis ladder and our weekly league play. Great memories.

My parents and Tarrytown UMC brought me together with your Dad-Alan. For 5 years we have been close in many directions of our lives. I will always rememer my Alan through the memories of our visits, letters, and phone calls. My heart mourns for your loss. I will miss my companion very much.
